Photography has lots of problems with it mostly because it is subjective, depends upon views and lighting, length of hair where small increases in length make a big difference. Defined hair counts with tattoo placement to guarantee that the same field would be examined to have value. Also objective studies like the HAIRCHECK would convince me but it doesn’t seem to be a driving force for investigators.
