Recreating hairlines

I would like to get this hairline back with a hair transplant. I think the issue is graft angulation or hair direction and also maybe density, but I really want to know how to describe it and understand it and if it can be made “right”.
Most men I know would kill for that hairline, but this is not practical when you have extensive balding. In this photo, there is no recession. In fact, depending on this person’s age, the hairline is yet to mature. If he is under 29, that transition may yet happen. Concerning replicating that hairline in a hair transplant, I do this routinely in women, but we shoot for a mature hairline as the targeted goal in men. I have rarely done this on men with that position or shape; however, I remember one man who was 20 years old and had a million-dollar contract for a daily soap. They told him that his maturing hairline would not make him the sex icon they needed, so I created it on him as his case was unique. He kept his job. Creating this hairline takes more hair, and in balding men, it is not a good idea to put such a lot of hair up front but rather give an age-appropriate mature hairline shape, saving hair for future donor hair for future balding. My recipient area is still red one month after my hair transplant, why? (photo)

Assuming that you don’t have an infection because your doctor cleared this diagnosis, then your hair and skin color often produces sensitive skin. To find out if this is the cause, you can scratch your forehead with your fingernail by pressing it into your forehead and moving it about 2 inches. IF the scratch area stays red for more than a few minutes, you have Histamine positive response and may be able to treat your red recipient area with topical steroids. ?

At 30 Days, My Recipient Area Is Still Red. What Can I Do About It?

Redness in the recipient area occurs in some people with fair skin, red hair, blonde hair, and other people with sensitive skin. It will eventually get better. Just be patient.

If you are concerned, go see your doctor and he/she may prescribe a special type of topical steroid that might accelerate the disappearance of the pink color.

In 27 years of doing hair transplants, it does not look as bad as what I have seen in many patients with the skin and hair types that I described above.

I’m currently going through TE and I might be tested positive with covid, will I 100% go through another round of TE cause of this?

There are no certainties in predicting what you are asking me; however, overlying Covid after having TE, I would suspect that your risk of another episode of TE is high

Recent Transplant in 19 Year Old

I would like to get some information on hair loss. I’m 19 and lost my hair on the temples. It’s not that bad because I can cover it. It’s the only hair loss problem.I had hair transplants in that area done by Dr [name removed], 250 grafts on each side. it’s been 2 and a half month’s now,can’t see any results yet. also the Doctor prescribed propecia for me but he say’s it only stops the hair loss in the crown area and there my hair is full and is in my family as well!!! I have been taking it for 5 months now and am not sure if should continue taking it!!! What would you recommend? I don’t want to lose anymore hair and also after I see the results from the transplant I had and want to still fix my hairline I really like what you are offering!! If it has only been a few months since the transplant, you must wait this out. I suspect that you had 250 grafts in each corner, similar to a Norwood Class 3 pattern. The full benefit of Propecia will take 8-12 months, and the transplant should show 80% of the benefit in 8 months. Keep on the course you have started and do not stop the Propecia.

I am concerned that you had a transplant at the age of 19. If you are in Los Angeles, please come by and introduce yourself for a second opinion. You need to have your scalp hair mapped out for miniaturization and you need a Master Plan in hand, particularly now that you already started the process.

Recent hair loss acceleration

So I’ve recently been noticing my hair looks way thinner, and is much more oily (which probably makes it stick together and look thinner). My scalp shows way much more on the sides, and its just wierd, feels like I aged 5 years in a month. I’ve always been a heavy drinker, but things that can have an effect:

• Drinking more often
• Smoking ALOT more

•Using this Hemp shampoo, which is very oily (pretty sure this is the main cause)

Sounds like your stressed and stress tends to accelerate the hair loss process in men who have the genes for balding
