Very Thin Hairs on My Comb
Recently I’ve noticed short hairs that are also extremely and unusually thin appearing on my comb after I comb my hair. I only see them on occasion (small minority of my hairs), but nontheless they are there. Does this indicate that the miniturization process has started to some extent, or do normal hairs sometimes go through thin/short phases only to return to normal eventually?
I would want to know if you are male or female and if you are having signs of balding present. What is your age?
People with miniaturized hair will find the hair to be more fragile and easier to be pulled out with combing and brushing. Large-toothed brushes are probably worth using as they do not place the full power of the ‘pull’ on each hair. If you are concerned about miniaturization, get your scalp mapped out for it and you will know for sure.

Here’s a photo of Jason Statham I found on IMDB, for those that are interested in who we’re referring to. I don’t know the particular number clipper that he uses, but I’d suggest that you buzz your hair with a high number first (try a 6), then go one level down at a time until you get the look you want. This way you will not overdo it and lose your chance at your short haircut goal. If I had to estimate though, I’d say that he probably uses a #2 setting (just quess work).

Hair follicles have a biologic clock that kicks in Apoptosis (cell death) in those men who have the genes for balding. I have seen young men (not common) rapidly lose their hair and develop a Class 7 pattern by the time they were 20. Statistically, that is probably not you unless you take after a father who was one of those rare men when he was young. Frequent masturbation has nothing to do with hair loss
Very Oily Scalp and Hair Loss

I’m a 19 year old male, who has a very oily scalp. I’m suspecting that it contributes to my hairloss by clogging the follicles. I have used a lot of dandruff shampoos (including Nizoral and tar shampoos), but nothing seems to work. Do you know any stronger treatment which can effectivly remove the oil on my scalp?

An oily scalp will not cause hair loss by clogging the pores of the hair follicles. Just use a good shampoo.
