Will finasteride impact my athletic performance?

I Am a 20 Year Old Male College Athlete Taking Finasteride. Is There Any Impact on Athletic Performance? Are there any treatments that won’t affect my endocrine system? I’m aware that muscular weakness is a well-documented side effect of Propecia. I’m a college athlete and I can’t afford the potential drop in performance that finasteride could cause.

Many athletic associations (including the Olympics) say that finasteride is a performance enhancing drug (Lance Armstrong was on it, as many other athletes). The best way to determine this is if you are on it is to compare your athletic skills since you went on the drug, to when you were not. Frankly, I am not absolutely sure.
