If a straightening iron touch your scalp, can it damage the follicles? Will the hair in the area that was touched by the straightening iron stop growing?
If it’s a quick touch, you might create some temporary damage… but if you left the iron to burn your scalp (I don’t know why you would), it will probably kill the hair touched by it.
