Just wanted to ask about Prevail Hair Growth Treatment by Pfizer. Is this the much talked about Minoxidil foam? Why is it so expensive, what gives?

It appears that Prevail Hair Growth Treatment contains 5% minoxidil topical solution. The rest of the treatment seems to be a shampoo, conditioner, and a volumizing mousse. A minoxidil foam may be easier to apply than traditional Rogaine, but I do not have direct experience with it. If anyone has tried it, please feel free to post a comment to let your experience be known.

I have tried monoxidil for 8 years please do not be fooled it does not regrow hair. But it does the following.
1. It keeps the roots stronger, thin but strong roots (I give 60% rating for that)
2. I may prevent hair from falling off (I give about 20% for that)
Overall rating for monoxidil to regrow hair 0% percent
My thin hair comes back thick after using it for two months. I use half the recomended dosage that is tells you, to save more money.
Please recommend a treatment/medication for balding round the crown and temple side areas.
