I saw the post today mentioning the testicular pain when on Propecia. I’ve been on Propecia almost 5 months now. I did have intense testicular pain after about a week or two on the drug. But right when I was about the quit, the pain went away and I haven’t noticed it since. Hope this helps.
I generally tell patients not to overreact to things. This is a good example where a little patience solved the problem. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Hello Dr. Rassman,
I have been on Propecia for 5 months and am relatively happy. I just wanted to comment on the Testicular Pain issue. I’ve been experiencing some mild/ignorable pain in this region. I also read onhttp://www.propecia.comthat testicular pain can in fact be a side effect. I thought I’d write in just to add to your own statistics, since you say you’ve had 1000’s of patients with none reporting this. I do realize that that I am not only NOT your patient, but that other factors could be contributing, but I thought I’d comment anyway.
