I read, in one of your responses, that DHT is the by-product of hepatic breakdown of testosterone. I thought 5AR was responsible for this conversion, hence the efficacy of Propecia and Avodart. Please correct me. Thanks!
The enzyme is responsible for DHT production and the process is largely carried out in the liver.
