This man took minoxidil, finasteride and used microneedling to improve the balding on his crown

Nice result in 4 months on minoxidil and finasteride.

This is a young man 22 years of age, with recent loss of the corner hairline on both sides. Men of this age are generally very responsive to drugs and microneedling

 

 

4 months on finasteride. You clearly have growth starting up. Hair grows at a rate of 1/2 inch/month so in a few more months you will see a nice contribution to your hairline

4 months on minoxidil and microneedling with good initial results. I will be curious on how long it will last. Are you going to stop doing the microneedling and just continue with the minoxidil? You should probably continue the microneedling at least a few times each year.

 

Usually, the grafts can’t be moved at 6 days. I know because I tried to do it, and they come apart as they are pulled out. Now, you should wait until the hair has grown, then fix what you don’t like after the hair has grown in.

The picture is worth 1000 words so that there is little I can say other than compliment this man for staying the line. Whatever you do, just don’t stop the finasteride as you will lose it and go back at least to where you were when you started.

As you get older your testosterone drops along with the DHT and then the finasteride is often less effective as you get older. What hair you have has stood the test of time which is an indication that much of it might stay; however without seeing you, I can’t make such a judgment.
