4 months on minoxidil and microneedling with good initial results. I will be curious on how long it will last. Are you going to stop doing the microneedling and just continue with the minoxidil? You should probably continue the microneedling at least a few times each year.

4 months on finasteride. You clearly have growth starting up. Hair grows at a rate of 1/2 inch/month so in a few more months you will see a nice contribution to your hairline

As you get older your testosterone drops along with the DHT and then the finasteride is often less effective as you get older. What hair you have has stood the test of time which is an indication that much of it might stay; however without seeing you, I can’t make such a judgment.
