There are many comments I could make here. There are teams of technicians working on a case of your size and if any of them had less skills than others, the grafts placed by the less skilled technicians could have caused this problem. There are many technical nuances in a hair transplant and any of them could have caused this problem, so speaking with your doctor is a good idea, at the least to get the feedback you need.

I don’t see the results from 3000 grafts suggesting a failure of the grafts to grow. The number one cause of this is a technical failure of the team performing the surgery. If you went to a good doctor, go back and discuss this with that doctor. If you purchased on price alone and the doctor is unavailable, the number one problem is that you have depleted your precious donor hair and may have hit the limit to FUEs done for the donor area having to switch to a strip surgery, so in that case, you need to see a real expert in this field?

You need to develop a Master Plan with a good doctor to determine your lifetime hair supply and how much has been used so far. You must know this for future planning. Your residual donor density can be measured by your surgeon to establish what the future possibilities are.

This man shaved his head so that he could tell the benefits of finasteride better with photos. He had restoration of much of the crown and some or the frontal hairs. This is not unusual in most men responds better in the crown.

This is the response that I like to see with the use of topical finasteride plus minoxidil. Topical finasteride keeps the medication in the skin.

I’m a long term user of Fin since 21 years old. Can honestly say I haven’t experienced one single side the entire time I’ve been taking it. I only take a quarter tablet every night 0.25mg I’m almost 31 in a few weeks. I’ve noticed over the past month or so my libido has decreased enough for me to notice.. Yes, some men reported this to me. The problem is that as men get older, ED becomes a problem without finasteride and so does a reduced libido in some men, so it is difficult to tell if it is the drug unless they stop it and if they stop it, then the could lose considerable hair volume.
