What do you think of Revivogen and this recent study, comparing it to Finasteride and Dutasteride: study (PDF File)
The science looks interesting, but it is not clear from this study that there will be actual hair growth. If you want a known DHT blocker, finasteride is safe and proven to work. Nonetheless, I appreciate the link and thanks for sending.

I would like to know if rogaine (5%) is contraindicated for use in type 2 diabetics, if so then why? thank you in advance.

Rogaine (minoxidil) is not contraindicated for diabetics. Rogaine is for hair growth and has nothing to do with insulin production or diabetes.

There is no other solution to get hair but an alternative to hair transplants is scalp micropigmentation (SMP) as this picture shows. This is a good alternative choice; however, you must accept that you will shave your head on a regular basis at least twice a week. Although this is a cosmetic tattoo, no one will even tell that it is not a full appearing shaved head of hair (when performed in the proper hands). We have performed this in men from 17 – 92 with great results. The man on the right had it and agreed to allow us to use his photo. I think that he looks great with SMP. These scabs (crusts) should have been prevented with good washing techniques the day and the day after surgery. Once they form, you run a risk of graft loss until 14 days at which time you can get them out by leaving a shampoo on the area for 10 minutes, getting it water logged, and then gently rub them off with your finger tips.
