Photography should be comparable. I suspect that you believe that it is better, so it must be because you manage it, but it doesn’t show up well. Get more comparable photos or give it another 6-12 months and then the results should jump off the page, good luck!

If this is the way your doctor does his transplants, I would look for another doctor.

Based on what I understand about their technology, the article significantly overstates things. Several other big skin groups are trying to make human hairs from cells, but it is very hard and hairs are not desirable scalp hairs.

Yes, stress such as any major surgery can induce hair loss. In men, it is often not reversible unless the lost hair is from a transplant as in your case. In women, it usually reverses.

For men, the older you get, the less likely that stress will cause hair loss. The hair transplants you had between 2002-2003 should not be impacted; however, if they are (very rare in men), then they always come back. The use of cortisone injections increases the risk of hair loss.

I have recently (2 months back) started driving a bike and hence started wearing a helmet regularly. i have noticed my hair thinning on the top. can it be due to wearing a helmet? is there any solution to this?

Helmets or hats or hot weather do not usually cause hair loss… unless perhaps your helmet is very tight and it is rubbing continuously on your scalp. It is more likely to be genetics than wearing a bike helmet.

There is no absolute solution / cure for hair loss, but if it is early genetic loss, the medications I would talk to your doctor about are finasteride and minoxidil.
