Another patient with finasteride, minoxidil and microneedling 9 months (photo)

This man used finasteride, minoxidil and microneedling for 9 months and clearly increased the density of his forelock. His hairline did not return to normal so I wonder if he used the microneedling on the original hairline as well but that failed to regrow?

Two post op patients (with photos)

This patient had surgery yesterday. Other than the tape that is applied to his forehead to prevent swelling from working its way down, there is no evidence of the surgery from yesterday. He had 1600 grafts from a combined strip and FUE surgery. He came in for his hair wash this morning which guaranteed that there was no crusting present anywhere to see. On the third day, he can remove the tape and go to work Monday morning.

This second patient is 10 days after his surgery and there is a small beard present in the hairline that goes in front of his previous natural hairline which you can see; however, when looking at him from any reasonable distance, there as no evident hair transplant unless you had to look at it up close as this photo does. These hairs should fall out in the next week or so.

Another Hair Transplant Failure from Turkey (Photo)

This was repaired by Dr. Schambach on the right. She redid the previous hair transplant and moved the hairline forward. In her hands, these grafts will grow. It just shows that there are no bargains that you can depend upon in this field.

Another Hair Loss Following Pregnancy

I have experenced hair loss after each one of my pregnecies. I have three kids,while I was pregnant my hair was fine. I have seeked medical advise, I was told stop having kids. Can you tell me if hair loss after pegnancy will ever correct itself, in other words will it grow back?

Some doctor’s amaze me with ridiculous comments like, “Stop having kids”. Hair loss with pregnancy is common and most women who experience it, like you, will see the process reverse within the first year after birth of the child. Have as many kids as you want. The hair loss, unfortulately, may recur with each pregnancy on a non-permanent basis, unless you have genetic female balding.

Another failed FUE performed by a technician with photo

The picture says it all. Yes, it was a bargain but at what cost? This patient had over 3000 FUE grafts permanently removed from his donor area (possibly had only 6000-7000 total for all hair transplants in his lifetime), plus he is now scarred and he will have to go after another transplant just to look normal. When that is done, he will be depleted in his donor area and probably be bald there. Switching balding from the top of the head to the back of the head is not bargain.

Another Depleted Donor Area (Photo)

Over and over again, patients are getting a see-through donor area from over-aggressive donor FUE harvesting. There is a limit on how many FUE grafts can be harvested, and your doctor has an obligation to tell this to you.

Another Clinic Named NHI?

I know you wouldnt normally do this, but would you please follow the link and see what you think of the Hair transplant clinic. The reason why is i am booked to have a transplant with them in 5 months and i need an urgent analysis on wether it is a reputable clinic and what they are offering is acceptable. Please NHI team, just your opinions. The reason i have come to you is because you arent ‘Sales merchants’ and arent biased. Also you wouldnt just say another transplabt clinic isnt good just so they come to you instead. You the best in the world so you wouldnt have to. Please follow the link and tell me you opions on what there offering.

That clinic in the UK and a few others like it around the world call themselves NHI. There’s one in Australia and even a couple have opened here in California trying to piggyback onto our reputation by using similar names. There are laws and I could probably pursue action, but it is too expensive for me to try to enforce copyright laws around the world, but I have enforced it in the United States.

I don’t know of that doctor in the UK or his work, but I would question the clinic’s honesty and integrity if they claim to be affiliated with my practice (copying our name) and you may think twice about having them work on your head. Even if they don’t claim to be associated with the New Hair Institute, the fact that they try to create confusion about it is suspect. These NHI clinics are not affiliated with myself or the New Hair Institute. Truth is, I have turned down opportunities to spread my practice out to other parts of the world. The New Hair Institute (NHI) has only two offices in California.
