hi. i am 14 year old (male) and i am having a lot of white hairs. My cousin had experience this when she was in teen age but later her hairs turn black again when she grown up. Is it possibility that my hairs will turn black when i grown up?
I have not heard of black hairs turning white and then back to black. White hair in very young people does occur, although it is not common.

I did experienced the same as the 14 years old girl above mentioned , where my black hair too turned white and later on the new same hair string black again , but at the age of 32-36. Could be deficiency of vit B12 or anemia , as I do have some syntoms of it occasionaly.I can confirm it ,it is true situation or as result of stress or diabets .Any related information , do not hesitate to contact me .Possibly there will be many other people experience the same , but never worried with it,they never approach a Dr , making this condition or once a while pattern , very rare or not recorded.Happens to few (4,5 or 6 ) strings of hair , each on their own , not in group and on people w long hair ,where it is visibly noticible. From the head black then whithish and on the end extremity black again.I can send you a sample as a prove of it . I do agree that may not be a deasease ,just occurence,reason why not yet well known to you.

Hello, i have the same problem also. except i am 23 years old. i noticed the white hair growing a few years back, that they were growing out black then turning white. but now they are growing out white from the roots and they dont change into black anymore. its very frustrating bec when i pull them out they grow back white and they stick out bec i have black hair. i am too young for this, and its so aggravating

i just literally pulled out a long white hair i saw while blow drying my hair. after i pulled it out, i saw that mid way to the root, it was growing out black again (my natural color)! i was so happy! that means it is possible for white hair to turn back to black (for me i guess). i don’t know why. this is the first time i’ve pulled a long white hair and saw that half of it was black (the growing out part). normally when i pull out white hair (which at 28 it has been more frequent), they’re very short so not sure if my other ‘white roots’ will eventually go back to black. i certainly hope so. but proof exists in my garbage can at the moment that its possible white hair can turn back to black!

I’m 13 and I have white hair growing on the right bottom side of my head LOL. Although it’s near the top so it’s not really visible unless someone looks closely.I’m so glad I’m not the only one haha.
