Hair transplants have come up a couple of times in the current US Presidential election. First, Senator Joe Biden’s plugs and subsequent repairs were the hot topic of political Internet gossip for a few days back in late August (Joe Biden’s Hair Transplant). Then, last night’s presidential debate had Senator John McCain, in a contorted logic, making reference to needing a hair transplant. Should we assume that this might be billed to Medicare healthcare reimbursements?

I was watching Mike Huckabee on Tyra Banks talk show and he was asked what type of plastic surgery he would like the most. He replied that he had a really nice thick head of hair inc ollege and would like a hair transplant. I’m sure there have been other instances as well.
Thanks for the tip!
I just looked it up and sure enough — “Even with some talk of tough issue, Banks’ interview was largely light-hearted: we all learned that Huckabee hates carrots, and that if he could have any cosmetic surgery he could chose he would add some hair to the top of his head.”
