My doctor wanted to give me scalp injections for my genetic hair loss, but I didn’t want them because my insurance wouldn’t pay for them, I didn’t think they would work based on what I’ve read, I know they are painful, and I was worried they could even cause more hair loss in the injection area. And even if they did work, I have hair loss all over my head and you can’t get them forever. Needless to say, my doctor was really mad that I declined them and now thinks I’m a difficult patient.
