Will having sex cause an increased rate of hair loss on men? And if so, is it better to have sex without ejaculating?

Block Quote

It is probably true that there is a relationship between testosterone and sexual appetite. There is also a relationship with testosterone and hair loss and if, for example, a man (who has the genes for androgenic alopecia) applied testosterone creams, he would increase his testosterone blood levels and probably have more hair loss due to the increased DHT. That is where this conversation ends.

Ejaculation (present or not) should not increase testosterone levels. There is no connection between ejaculation and hair loss. If you want to have sex without ejaculating… good luck!

  1. I might be wrong, but this is my theory on sex/masturbation and hairloss.
If a male has the genes for haitloss, then I think sex/masturbation can increase hairloss. If a person does not have the genes then there is nothing to worry about.
    Again, I could be wrong.

  2. I have a theory, too. i may be wrong. If a male has the genes for hair loss, then I think eating grapefruit can increase hairloss. If a person does not have the genes then there is nothing to worry about.
    Again, I could be wrong

  3. The question actually got me thinking of making a choice between preventing my hair loss and having sex. naahh screw my hair.

  4. I might be wrong, but i have a theory on hair loss as well
If a male has the genes for hairloss, then he is more likely to become a gay cross dresser. If a person does not have the genes then there is nothing to worry about.
    Again, I could be wrong.

  5. I might be wrong, but i have a theory on hair loss as well
If a male has the genes for hairloss, then he is more likely to name himself “Grant” and bash Propecia endlessly. If a person does not have the genes then there is nothing to worry about.
    Again, I could be wrong.

  6. LOL its funny how you guys dismiss this so easily. It has not been proven that sex/masturbation doesn’t cause hairloss, just like it has not been proven sex/masturbation causes hairloss.
its up in the air. sex/mastubation increases testosterone, more testosterone equals more binding to alpha 5 reducatse. more binding equals more DHT. and now you geniuses should know what more dht results to. when you get sexualy aroused testosterone is the cause.
so instead of writing retarted comebacks, throw some logic into it.
