We wrote about garlic gel being used in small studies as an alopecia areata treatment, but I’m not sure where you can buy it and I don’t have a recipe for it. Perhaps you should check your local pharmacy or health foods store.
I don’t have a recipe but you can purchase medical grade transdermal base gels easily enough – then I’d assume you’d just want to crush some garlic. A wonderfully smelly ointment. You could also get deodorised garlic extract to make it a lot easier.
