Topical finasteride and topical minoxidil should work well on the crown in many young men. Even the oral finasteride can get results like this.

This man clearly used Toppik powder concealer to make his balding area look fuller in the before picture as flakes of Topppik show up in the photo. After the 7 months, he must have felt good enough about himself to take this photos without any evidence of Toppik on the photo.

This patient used nizoral shampoo, finasteride and minoxidil and in just 7 months had almost a complete reversal of the crown hair loss, not an unusual occurrence.
