7 Months on finasteride and minoxidil (photo)

Great results from finasteride and minoxidil in a 31 y/o male in just 7 months. I was asked yesterday if balding can be reversed, you have answered the question, at least for now.

7 months on dutasteride (photo)

This is a very nice reversal of frontal corner recession with dutasteride. He may have had the same result on finasteride.

7 months finasteride, minoxidil and microneedling

As promised I am entering in the 7 months with complete photos took each month.

Routine:

  1. finasteride 1mg every morning when i wake up

  2. minoxidil twice a day

  3. zinc + D vitamin 3 months cure After dinner

  4. cafein + kératin 3 months cure After dinner for better absorption

  5. microneedling once every 2 weeks at 0.5 to 0.75mm with 16 needle dermapen . If i go more than 0.75mm = bleeding which i do not want

  6. 15mn head massage twice a month

  7. t gel shampoo once a week max.

  8. essentiel oil shampoo that i have made (Cedar + ginger oil)

Amazing! This is strongly the work of microneedling plus help from everything else.

7 months after microneedling, minoxidil and finasteride

Even this Class 6 pattern of balding which appears older than most young men, show a response to microneedling, minoxidil and finasteride. I suspect that if he continues with this, the results may get even better. Very impressive early growth.

7 Months After a Hair Transplant, the Density is Decreasing

Hallo,

I had an hair transplant on my temples about 7 months ago. After my transplant I had minimal and certainly not complete at all loss of transplanted small hair. After about 5 months I could see results which were incredibly positive and the hair in the transplanted areas was long and rather thick.

What I have experienced in the last 2 months has been a visible decrease in density of the transplanted hair. Is this possible? Also my hair loss in non transplanted areas has increased (I have been on propecia for 8 years)

Thanks a lot for your help

It is difficult for me to guess at what you are talking about. Existing original hair may continue to be lost to the balding process and even at 6 months shock loss can occur by accelerating the hair loss in the areas you are discussing. You doctor should have good photographs from just before your surgery to help you analyze what is actually happening. That is where you should get the answer to your question. Even if I saw you personally, I may not appreciate the changes you discussed above and the time line of those changes.
